About the Role

Urban Grey Engineering Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic and technically motivated Electrical Engineer Trainee to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The trainee will gain practical exposure to electrical design, estimation, documentation, and engineering coordination for government infrastructure, building, and multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of electrical designs, drawings, layouts, and technical documents.
• Support preparation of BOQ, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and specifications.
• Assist senior engineers in electrical load calculations and basic electrical system design.
• Support preparation and review of electrical drawings for building and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, structural, MEP, and project teams.
• Assist in preparing DPRs, technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Review drawings and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with site visits, inspections, measurements, and technical data collection when required.
• Follow project standards, company procedures, and applicable technical requirements.
• Learn and use relevant engineering software and tools for electrical design and documentation.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering candidates may also be considered.
• Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, building services, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
