Electrical Engineering Intern

Who you are

• This internship is for someone who wants to learn and be creatively challenged
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field or can demonstrate equivalent experience
• Fundamental understanding of analog, digital, and power circuit design
• Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and motor drivers
• Experience with test and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, etc
• Experience with Raspberry Pi, Python, or equivalent tools for scripting collection and analysis of data
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with Altium or other schematic design tools

What the job involves

• As an Electrical Engineering intern at Mill, you’ll be working with a tight-knit, fast-paced team on a novel consumer product
• Your day-to-day will include hands-on work with hardware components and lab equipment as well as schematic and layout design tools like Altium. Since we’re a small team, your work and learning will span design, tooling, and testing as we push towards launch
• Work closely with the cross-functional mechanical, systems, and firmware teams on the design and validation of new products
• Run experiments to collect and analyze hardware performance, documenting and validating all results
• Support engineering build activities, partnering with CMs and other teams to track test data and troubleshoot issues
• Work alongside key engineers to root-cause problems and find solutions and workarounds
