Electrical Engineering Specialist

TTVN Group is one of the top three clean energy enterprises in Vietnam, having successfully invested in and brought into commercial operation numerous renewable energy projects—including a portfolio of rooftop solar power installations—with a total capacity of 412 MW. Currently, TTVN Group continues to develop new solar, wind, and gas-to-power projects, while also exploring expansion into the fields of biomass energy and hydrogen.

Job Description:

Manage and oversee electrical components throughout the project lifecycle—from design, bidding, and construction to final inspection and handover.

• Review and evaluate design documentation, and propose optimal technical solutions for the project.

• Monitor progress, quality, costs, and safety during project implementation.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

• Inspect and approve materials, equipment, and completed construction quantities.

• Participate in system testing, commissioning, handover, and operational support.

• Prepare reports, manage technical documentation, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the design or review of electrical components for energy and wind power projects. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working for project-based companies or project management units (PMUs) within the power and energy construction sector. Experience in design management and electrical engineering is mandatory.

• Proven experience in managing construction investment projects, specifically within the power, wind energy, and solar energy sectors.

• Solid understanding of construction investment project management processes within the power and energy industry, as well as relevant legal regulations.

• Possession of professional certifications—such as those for design, construction supervision, project management, or site management (construction site manager)—is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Power Systems Engineering (preferred), Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.

Skills

• Strong planning, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required; Japanese language skills are a plus.
