Electrical Engineering Technician

We have a full-time vacancy for an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join the team at our unique facility in MONARTO SOUTH (near Murray Bridge).

Responsibilities

• Design and documentation of electrical systems

• Design electrical circuits and calculate electrical loads for the system networks

• Planned the layout and conducted tests of electrical systems.

• Prepare project estimates, schedules, and specifications.

• Analysis of plant faults & failures and create proactive solutions for plant issues.

• Install and commission projects.

• Daily operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial machines.

• Undertake electrical tasks associated with maintenance shutdowns.

• Effectively respond to callouts and unplanned maintenance issues.

• Ensure proper implementation of OHS requirements and adherence to corporate policies and procedures.

• Assist in preparing bills of materials and estimates.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience of 3 years as an electrical engineering technician.

• Knowledge of Automation and Control systems.

• Familiarity with a wide range of PLCs brands.

• Experience working in an industrial and Commercial environment.

• Experience in control board system fault finding repair and installation.

• Understanding of AC & DC charger converters.

• Experience in providing remote troubleshooting and fault-finding solutions.

• Experience with System Design and Panels - Preferable

• Experience in fault-finding and troubleshooting

• An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with high standards of efficiency and workmanship

• Sound knowledge of OH&S regulations pertaining to the role and its working environment

• Knowledge of AutoCAD – Desirable

This is not a FIFO role.

Wages are paid weekly. The base annual salary is in the order of $80,000.00 - $95,000.00, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
