Electrical Engineering Technician

Location: Hybrid, Aurora, IN or CT (travel required for this role)

Compensation: $80,000+, commensurate with experience

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to build, install, and program electrical panels and assemblies that operate on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers and horizontal boring mills. The ideal candidate must be willing to work as a team player and be comfortable standing for extended periods of time. This is a hands-on role that will follow each project from concept through installation.

This position is based out of our Aurora, Indiana facility, which includes office space, a technician work area, and a shop with CNC machines, providing the opportunity to work with CNC machinery sourced from around the world. On average, 3-4 days per week are expected to be spent traveling in the field. Travel is primarily, although not exclusively, within North America, so candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid passport and relevant visas.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong CNC background with FANUC, Mitsubishi, or Okuma controls experience (preferred).
• Proven experience with parameter changes and ladder editing (required).
• PLC and electrical systems experience (required).
• Ability to read PLC diagrams and schematics (required).
• Experience with machine tool integration involving hydraulic systems and/or rotary tables (desirable).
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, a solid work ethic, sound problem-solving ability, and the capacity to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Siemens, Heidenhain, or other controls is a definite plus.
• Candidates with less experience that possess a strong employment history and a positive attitude may also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation starts at $80,000 annually, with final salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation, and a company-matching 401(k) after one year of service.
