Electrical Engineer/Project Manager

About the role

Manage and oversee electrical works for building construction and A&A projects from planning to completion. Supervise and manage workers, foremen, site supervisors and engineers to ensure smooth site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities, manpower deployment, work schedules and material requirements
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality and safety compliance
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants and other M&E subcontractors to resolve site issues and ensure timely project completion
• Review electrical drawings, technical submissions and project documentation
• Manage project schedules, budgets, costing, variations and progress claims
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and site teams on electrical installation and troubleshooting
• Attend site meetings and report project progress, issues and solutions to management
• Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, Singapore regulations and safety requirements

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical works, preferably with an M&E subcontractor
• Experience in building construction and A&A projects in Singapore
• Able to manage workers, foremen, site supervisors and engineers
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, site coordination and project management
• Able to manage manpower, project schedules, costs and multiple site activities independently
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
