Kinetic Electrical is on the lookout for a motivated Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a good understanding of the electrical industry who enjoys working with numbers, problem-solving, and delivering accurate, competitive pricing for a range of projects. You'll be part of a supportive and skilled team, contributing to the success of industrial and commercial electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to calculate material, labour, and equipment requirements.
• Participate in site visits and meetings to gather information and assess project needs.
• Assist with tender submissions, pricing documentation, and proposal preparation.
• Prepare clear and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including new installations, upgrades, and maintenance works.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all project requirements are understood and incorporated into pricing.
• Use estimating software and tools to prepare, manage, and update quotes and submissions.
• Identify opportunities to offer cost-effective alternatives through value engineering.
• Keep current with industry standards, technologies, and regulations that may impact costs or methods.
• Support procurement activities by liaising with suppliers and securing competitive pricing.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams throughout the estimating process.
• Follow up on submitted tenders to gather feedback and support future improvements.
