Electrical Estimator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Estimator to join our Company. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical and integrated services projects within the healthcare sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical industry background who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering high-quality tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical and integrated services projects.
• Complete material and labour take-offs in electrical power and lighting, structured cabling, and data voice networks.
• Prepare tender submissions and client quotations.
• Attend site inspections, tender walkthroughs and client meetings.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Support successful project handovers to delivery teams.
• Ensure estimates comply with Australian Standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and cost assumptions.

About you

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical industry.
• Experience in commercial electrical and communications installations.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SimPRO and Bluebeam (desirable).
• Exposure to healthcare projects (desirable).
• South Australian Driver's Licence.
• National Police Clearance.
• Working with Children Clearance.
• Electrical Trade Certificate and Licence (desirable).
• Open Registration Licence (desirable).
