Electrical Estimator

Kurkov Electric is a growing, locally owned electrical contractor looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who understands electrical construction, can accurately estimate projects, communicate well with customers and contractors, and help move projects from the initial bid through completion.

What You'll Do

• Prepare estimates for residential and commercial electrical projects
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and project scopes
• Complete material takeoffs and labor estimates
• Perform occasional site visits when needed
• Prepare proposals, change orders, and project pricing
• Communicate with homeowners, contractors, vendors, and project contacts
• Follow up on outstanding estimates and help turn opportunities into awarded work
• Assist with scheduling, materials, project coordination, and job progress
• Keep estimates and project documentation organized

What We're Looking For

• Previous electrical estimating experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to read plans, drawings, and construction documents
• Knowledge of the NEC
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
• Able to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Field electrical or construction experience is a plus
• Plumbing and/or HVAC estimating experience is also a plus
