Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of projects including multi-family developments, warehouses, site work, and commercial buildings.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, understands construction documents thoroughly, and can confidently manage multiple bids at once.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for all electrical systems
• Prepare complete project estimates including:
• Lighting & power
• Fire alarm systems
• Site lighting and underground utilities
• EV infrastructure and specialty systems
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Develop labor projections and job cost breakdowns
• Identify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and risk factors
• Coordinate with project managers and leadership during bid process
• Assist in preparing proposals, scopes of work, and bid submissions
• Maintain organized records of estimates and project data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with multi-family, commercial, or industrial projects preferred
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
