Electrical Estimator

A leading electrical contractor is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead estimating and bidding efforts for large-scale healthcare and commercial construction projects in the greater Jacksonville, FL area.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed electrical cost estimates, budgets, and competitive bids for large-scale healthcare and commercial projects, including projects exceeding $50M.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and subcontractor/vendor proposals to ensure accurate pricing, scope coverage, and compliance with NEC standards.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities, develop competitive bid strategies, and collaborate with leadership, project teams, and vendors to support successful project awards.
• Mentor junior estimators, oversee estimating workflows, and ensure timely bid submissions and comprehensive project handoffs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in healthcare and commercial construction, with demonstrated experience bidding and budgeting large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in ConEst Intellibid, Surecount, Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office required.
