Electrical Estimator

O'Mahony & Sons Electrical, Inc. has an immediate opening for a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator that is eager to join our growing team. Responsibilities include:

• Completing full comprehensive takeoffs and quantity surveys based on client requests
• Obtaining subcontractor and material/equipment pricing
• Preparing detailed estimate summaries, broken down as requested by the client(s), and reviewing the summaries with management prior to submitting the documents
• Submitting bid forms including scope letters, and RFI's in a professional, accurate, and timely manner
• Following up on bid projects and working with customers to try to win the project
• Working with the project management team to ensure a seamless transition when projects are awarded
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with coworkers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and clients.
• Individuals must have strong leadership skills and must have the ability to work as a team, as well as independently in a professional, timely, and efficient manner.

Individuals must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience. They must be able to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimating software, AutoCAD, and REVIT is a plus.

This position is full-time, 7am-4pm Monday through Friday. We offer a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, 401K, sick time, vacation time, and paid holidays. We are a family-owned business that continues to grow. Must like dogs!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
