Electrical Field Engineer (HV/MV)

Paralos Energy , an established company specializing in energy infrastructure construction and services, is expanding its activities in the area and seeking electrical engineers to join its Service Department and support the operation and maintenance of electrical substations and renewable energy installations across Central and Southern Peloponnese.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating preventive maintenance activities, supporting corrective interventions, coordinating external contractors and maintaining effective communication with clients.

Role description:

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and routine checks on HV/MV substations, MV transmission lines and electrical equipment.
• Standby and at hoc corrective maintenance activities at project sites within the assigned region.
• Cooperate and supervise field technicians and external contractors during work on site.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors during maintenance, repair and other on-site activities.
• Act as primary focal person with client representatives.
• Coordinate with wind turbine maintenance teams, where applicable, to support operational synergies.
• Support the EPC Department during commissioning, testing and handover of newly constructed projects, where required.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance records for internal and external use.
• Comply with company HSE requirements, safe working procedures and applicable electrical safety practices, actively promoting a zero-accident culture.
• Participate in on-call arrangements, including weekends and public holidays, according to operational requirements.
• Report to the HV/MV Area Supervisor of the Service Department.

Skills and Competences:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience of at least 2 years in MV/HV electrical installations or substations.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of English language.
• Good communication, teamwork and coordination skills.
• Hands on approach and analytical thinking towards problem solving.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites within Central and Southern Peloponnese.
• Valid driving license and ability to work in the field.
• Strong commitment to HSE requirements and safe working practices.

Preferred:

• License to operate MV or HV equipment.
• Experience with 150KV substations, renewable energy projects or electrical power systems.
• Practical troubleshooting skills and the ability to address technical issues on site.
• Experience coordinating contractors or communicating with clients.
