Job Description

American Titan Electric is looking for an experienced Electrical Leadman to lead electrical installations on custom residential homes.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a custom home from rough-in through trim-out and final completion. This position requires strong residential electrical experience, leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to keep projects moving while maintaining our quality standards.

Custom homes require more attention to detail than standard residential construction. We need someone who understands how to work with builders, project managers, homeowners, and other trades while delivering clean, professional electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical crews on custom residential projects
• Read and understand electrical plans, architectural drawings, and specifications
• Lay out electrical systems before rough-in
• Perform and supervise rough-ins, trim-outs, and final electrical work
• Install and oversee panels, services, lighting, receptacles, switches, dedicated circuits, and specialty electrical systems
• Coordinate with builders, superintendents, inspectors, and other trades
• Identify material needs before they delay the project
• Maintain jobsite organization and cleanliness
• Make sure work meets NEC requirements and local codes
• Perform quality-control inspections before requesting inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and correct deficiencies
• Keep projects on schedule
• Train and supervise helpers and electricians
• Communicate project progress and issues with management
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when working around customers and builders

Qualifications

• Strong residential electrical experience required
• Custom-home electrical experience strongly REQUIRED
• Previous Leadman, Foreman, or crew-lead experience preferred
• Must be able to read electrical and construction plans
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and NEC requirements
• Must be able to independently lay out and manage a custom-home electrical project
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be dependable and able to consistently report to work on time
• Must have basic electrical hand tools

Compensation

Pay is based on experience and ability.

Higher compensation will be considered for candidates who can demonstrate strong custom-home experience and the ability to independently lead projects and crews.
