We are seeking an experienced Voorman Yachting to join a leading organisation within the luxury yacht construction sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated electrical professional who combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills. Working on high-profile yacht projects, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation activities, coordinating site teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise teams of electricians and technicians on yacht construction projects
• Coordinate daily installation activities and workforce planning
• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety performance
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with VCA and NEN 3140 regulations
• Identify and report project variations, risks, and additional works
• Liaise with Project Managers, Commissioning Engineers, and site stakeholders
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities

Requirements

• Completed qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience within yacht building
• Proven experience leading electrical installation teams
• Strong knowledge of maritime electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems
• VCA certification (VOL preferred)
• NEN 3140 certification
• Fluent in Dutch and able to communicate effectively in English
• Willingness to travel when required
• Based within commuting distance of Aalsmeer or willing to relocate
