Electrical Foreman

Duties and Responsibilities

Electrical Foreman has duties and responsibilities that focuses on supervising and coordinating daily electrical installation activities at the project site, ensuring that all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and company standards. Their duties and responsibilities include:

• Site Supervision and Coordination. Supervise and assign daily tasks to electricians and helpers, monitor installation progress against approved plans and project schedules, coordinate manpower and work requirements with the Project Engineer, and conduct toolbox meetings and daily work briefings.
• Electrical Installation Works. Supervise the installation of electrical conduits, wiring, cable trays, lighting fixtures, outlets, panel boards, circuit breakers, grounding systems, and other equipment. Ensure proper workmanship, material handling, and resolution of installation issues.
• Safety and Compliance. Enforce safety policies, site regulations, and proper PPE use. Identify and report hazards, maintain workplace cleanliness, and participate in safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
• Manpower and Materials Management. Monitor manpower attendance, assignments, and productivity; prepare daily manpower and accomplishment reports; ensure material, tool, and equipment availability; and minimize wastage and resource misuse.
• Quality Control and Reporting. Inspect ongoing and completed electrical works, identify defects and rework requirements, report technical concerns, and ensure installations are ready for inspection and testing. Prepare progress reports and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a vocational course, technical program, or other relevant electrical training; a high school graduate with substantial relevant experience may also be considered.
• With at least 2–3 years of experience in electrical installation and construction works.
• With proven experience supervising electricians and electrical helpers.
• Knowledgeable in electrical plans, wiring diagrams, conduit installation, cable pulling, and electrical equipment installation.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledgeable in construction site safety practices and proper use of PPE.
• Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on project sites and render overtime when required by project operations.
