Electrical Helper

OT Electrical Services is looking for a full-time electrical helper. Experience is preferred but not needed. Compensation will be based on the applicant’s level of electrical experience and demonstrated skill set. Applicants with more electrical experience and the ability to work independently may qualify for higher pay. Ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, good communication skills, be able to pay attention to details and be dependable. Ability to read measurements, use of tools and work independently is a must. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient task execution, helping ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality workmanship. A "can-do" mindset and a willingness to take direction is a must. Applicant must also be mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand tools.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on job sites, following NEC guidelines and local codes. This includes pulling wire, drilling, installing devices and fixtures and digging ditches to install in-ground conduit and wire while ensuring quality and adherence to project specifications.

· Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to perform basic electrical tasks and measurements

· Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project progress.

· Clean work areas when finished and keep all materials/parts organized after use. Also report materials that need to be replaced or low in stock.

Requirements:

· Must be able to work at heights which include climbing ladders, scaffolding and stairs

· Need to be able to endure long periods of standing, bending, lifting, walking and also working in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.

· Ability to work in all different types of weather conditions such as heat and cold.

· Valid driver’s license

· Must have basic hand tools and reliable transportation

· A strong work ethic and attention to detail is crucial. Need to be highly motivated.

· Must have exceptional follow through abilities and be highly organized.

· Need someone who is passionate about our industry and has a strong desire to learn new techniques every day with a very positive attitude and flexible mindset.
