Electrical Inspection Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed design documents, engineering calculations, and construction drawings for solar power generation systems, including Solar Rooftop, Solar Farm, Solar Floating, and Solar Carport projects.

2. Prepare, submit, and follow up on design documents, calculations, and construction drawings for approval from project owners and relevant stakeholders.

3. Develop detailed designs, calculations, and drawings to support Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and define material specifications, coordinating closely with the procurement team.

4. Prepare technical documents required for permit applications and coordinate with both internal departments and external authorities.

5. Utilize engineering and design software such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Visio, PVsyst, and design tools including AutoCAD, SketchUp, STAAD Pro, and other relevant engineering software.

6. Demonstrate strong leadership, a positive working attitude, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

7. Ensure all detailed designs, calculations, and drawings comply with engineering standards, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements, including verification based on sound engineering principles for:

   • Roof and mounting structures
   • Inverter and electrical structures
   • AC/DC cable routing, tie-in positions, and communication systems
   • Grounding systems, shutdown systems, and transformer installations

8. Conduct site inspections to verify that electrical installation, cable termination, cable routing, painting, and construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and site boundaries.

9. Resolve on-site technical issues related to design, installation methods, or site conditions to ensure continuous project progress, based on sound engineering principles and site constraints.

10. Prepare weekly site inspection and installation reports, including identified issues and corrective actions.

11. Provide technical support to site teams during project handover and client inspections, and respond to client inquiries in accordance with engineering best practices.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
   Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electrical design and inspection engineering.
2. Experience in solar energy projects such as Solar Rooftop, Solar Farm, Solar Floating, Solar Carport, or related systems will be an advantage.
3. Possession of a Professional Engineering License issued by the Engineering Council of Thailand (PE License) is required.
4. Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing) for effective workplace communication.
5. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a car.
