Electrical Installation Helper

At Estel, specialists in comprehensive installations for high-end hotel and residential projects, we are looking to hire Electrical Installation Helpers for our branch in Barbados.

The selected candidates will join our site team, supporting the specialist technicians in the installation of low-voltage power, lighting and associated systems, reporting to the Site Supervisor for the discipline.

Mission To carry out the project's electrical installations to the quality, safety and schedule standards required in luxury hotel projects, in compliance with local regulations and internal company procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist the specialist technicians in preparing materials, tools and work areas.
• Install containment systems: conduit, cable tray and trunking.
• Pull and terminate power and lighting cables.
• Assemble and wire electrical distribution boards.
• Install wiring devices, light fixtures and emergency lighting.
• Install earthing and grounding systems.
• Support the technician in carrying out work according to drawings and instructions.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, and comply with site safety rules.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in construction or electrical installations, or related technical training.
• Ability to use basic electrical tools.
• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude and teamwork skills.
• English for on-site communication.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Desirable

• Technical training (vocational course, CVQ/NVQ or equivalent).
• Occupational health and safety training.
• Driver's license.
