Electrical Installation Specialist Technician

At Estel, specialists in comprehensive installations for high-end hotel and residential projects, we are looking to hire Electrical Installation Specialist Technicians for our branch in Barbados.

The selected candidates will join our site team. They will take part in the installation of low-voltage power, lighting and associated systems, reporting to the Site Supervisor for the discipline.

Mission To carry out the project's electrical installations to the quality, safety and schedule standards required in luxury hotel projects, in compliance with local regulations and internal company procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Install containment systems: conduit, cable tray and trunking.
• Pull and terminate power and lighting cables.
• Assemble and wire electrical distribution boards.
• Install wiring devices, light fixtures and emergency lighting.
• Install earthing and grounding systems.
• Perform insulation, continuity and earth testing.
• Read single-line diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, and comply with site safety rules.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an electrician or electrical installation technician.
• Previous experience in luxury hotel or high-end residential projects.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate helpers.
• English for on-site communication.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Desirable

• Valid electrician license or certification (CVQ/NVQ or equivalent).
• Knowledge of lighting control and hotel room automation systems.
• Occupational health and safety training.
• Driver's license.
