Electrical Instructor

Description:

The instructor is responsible for providing and sustaining an effective learning environment for every student through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair and holistic assessment of learning, clear documentation and feedback on student progress, and support of academic success for all students. The instructor is responsible for maintenance of professional competence through engagement in documented professional development activities, for engagement in documented faculty development activities that enhance the ability to provide effective instruction and for participation in departmental and campus-wide activities.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Teach assigned classes under the supervision of the Program Director and Director of Education.
• Help students fulfill their maximum potential in mastering course content.
• Perform continual assessment and evaluation of student learning outcomes.
• Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge in his/her regular teaching field.
• Demonstrate skill in communicating verbally to make group presentations as well as a one-to one basis with persons at all levels of the organization; demonstrate proficient writing skills; and demonstrate experience in interacting diplomatically to mediate personnel conflicts.

We are hiring for Fulltime and Part-time

Fulltime hours - Split Shift 8:00am-1:00pm and 5:30pm-10:30pm Monday- Thursday. Fridays occasionally (Salary position)

Part time - Either 8:00am-1:00pm or 5:30pm-10:30pm Monday- Thursday (Hourly position)

Requirements:

3 years of current experience in the electrical field
