My client is a recently funded start up building the future of intelligent load handling by making industrial machines — forklifts, wheel loaders, diggers, and more — fully autonomous with "silicon brains." The company's machine-agnostic intelligence platform lets any machine, on any site, perceive, decide, and act autonomously. One platform. Any machine. No fleet replacement.

Already live across multiple sites and customers— spanning logistics and warehousing, industrial manufacturing, and large-scale chemical production — they are currently in a high-growth phase with strong customer demand, expanding aggressively into the United States with a new hub in Austin, Texas. C-level leadership is on the ground establishing a warehouse and lab facility, making this a true 0-to-1 environment where early hires will define the operational playbooks for deploying and operating autonomous machines at scale.

We are looking for an Electrical Integration Engineer with 5+ years of experience in automotive, off-highway, robotics, industrial, or vehicle electrical systems to own the electrical interface between our autonomy system and every customer machine. You're a hands-on engineer who is just as comfortable designing harnesses in electrical CAD as you are troubleshooting CAN/J1939 on a forklift in a customer's facility. As we expand aggressively into the US with a new hub in Austin, you'll be one of the first engineers to help turn industrial machines into autonomous robots. You'll also set the electrical integration standards that let one platform run on any machine.

What will you be doing?

• Analyzing OEM vehicle electrical architectures and defining the interfaces between our hardware and customer machines
• Designing wiring harnesses, power distribution, grounding, protection, I/O circuits, and CAN/J1939 physical connections
• Producing release-quality schematics, harness drawings, connector tables, BOMs, and installation documentation
• Leading electrical bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting on customer machines, and guiding technicians through assembly and rework
• Building reusable electrical integration standards and components as we scale the US operations

Requirements:

• 5 - 16 years of experience as an electrical integration engineer
• Bachelor of Science degree (preferablyin Electrical Engineering)
• Experience designing wiring harnesses and low- voltage power distribution systems (electrical CAD, harness design tools)
• Ability to work on- site in Austin, TX
• Experience with automotive, off- highway, robotics, industrial, or vehicle electrical systems
• Experience with CAN and J1939 physical interfaces or stack implementation in electric powertrains
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems directly on vehicles (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, CAN tools)
• Background in automotive embedded software and ECU development
• Willingness to travel regularly (1- 3 days/week) to customer facilities
