Job Description – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical Engineering
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machines, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in CNC machines, VMCs, HMCs, PLC panels, control panels, motors, drives, and electrical systems.
• Handle installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLC, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, servo drives, and control circuits.
• Maintain electrical panels, wiring, cables, motors, and other plant electrical systems.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize machine downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare-parts requirements.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments for timely breakdown resolution.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and energy-saving initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
• Experience with CNC machines and industrial automation will be preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC, VFD, Servo Drives, Sensors, and Electrical Panels.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle breakdown situations.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and maintenance practices.
