Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Education: Minimum Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical equipment maintenance and operations.

Key Responsibilities

-Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical equipment, including low and high-voltage electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear and electrical panels, electric motors, cable trays, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment.
-Develop annual and monthly electrical maintenance plans and spare parts requirements.
-Maintain equipment and asset databases throughout their lifecycle and record maintenance and repair history.
-Identify potential electrical hazards and equipment issues, and develop appropriate repair and optimization solutions.
-Ensure electrical maintenance activities comply with applicable safety standards and regulations.
-Coordinate with relevant parties regarding electricity supply, shutdown/reconnection, and other electrical-related matters.
-Provide guidance and supervision to local electrical technicians to ensure work is performed according to required standards.
-Support electrical system modification, upgrading, and capacity expansion activities.
-Provide technical support for electrical maintenance and emergency repairs at the project site.

Requirements

-Minimum Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and operations.
-Strong understanding of low and high-voltage electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
-Able to independently troubleshoot and resolve common electrical issues.
-Strong hands-on technical skills and comfortable working in a field/site environment.
-Good understanding of applicable electrical standards and regulations in Indonesia.
-Relevant certificates or qualifications in electrical equipment maintenance are required.
-Experience in ports, conveyor systems, or power plants is highly preferred.
-Able to read and understand electrical drawings and technical manuals.
-Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia for technical communication.
-Willing to be assigned to a site location and handle emergency repairs when required.
