Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure minimum machine downtime.
• Maintain electrical panels, motors, drives, contactors, relays, and industrial wiring systems.
• Monitor and maintain PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, sensors, VFDs, and control circuits, wherever applicable.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of production equipment and utilities.
• Carry out root cause analysis for recurring electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown records, and maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, LOTO, and plant safety standards.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment.
• Monitor spare parts availability and coordinate with vendors for maintenance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical panels, motors, drives, and industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance is preferred.

• Preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis.
• Electrical safety, LOTO, and root cause analysis.
