Electrical Maintenance Manager

Job Description – Electrical Maintenance ManagerKey Responsibilities

• Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical equipment.
• Ensure reliable operation of HT/LT panels, transformers, switchgear, motors, VFDs, MCCs, PCCs, UPS, and DG sets.
• Minimize equipment breakdowns and improve plant uptime and reliability.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and annual shutdown activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring failures.
• Ensure electrical safety, LOTO, permit-to-work, earthing, and statutory compliance.
• Monitor power consumption, power factor, maximum demand, and energy-saving initiatives.
• Manage electrical maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractors.
• Lead, train, and supervise electrical engineers, technicians, and contract manpower.
• Coordinate with Production, Utilities, Instrumentation, Projects, and EHS departments.
• Maintain electrical drawings, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, including breakdown downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and preventive maintenance compliance.

Qualification and Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–15 years of relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
• Experience with SAP PM / CMMS and electrical safety standards.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
