Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor (Outside Mill) is responsible for supervising electrical maintenance activities for equipment and utilities located in the outside mill area. The role ensures reliable operation of electrical systems, timely troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns, and effective implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to support continuous plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) or Registered Master Electrician (RME).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing plant, processing facility, or industrial environment.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or team leader experience in maintenance operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive/predictive maintenance systems.
• Experience in maintaining motors, control systems, electrical panels, and power distribution equipment in industrial settings.
• Proficient in PM planning, CMMS operation, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to enforce safety standards, discipline, and quality compliance in maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical maintenance activities for outside mill equipment and utilities.
• Ensure proper execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs for motors, control panels, power distribution systems, and related electrical components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in outdoor plant equipment and utilities to minimize operational downtime.
• Lead and guide electricians and technicians in daily maintenance and repair activities.
• Monitor work orders, maintenance schedules, and documentation using CMMS or maintenance systems.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and operations teams to support plant efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate electrical systems and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and energy efficiency.
• Manage spare parts availability and assist in electrical maintenance planning and budgeting.
• Conduct coaching and technical training for electricians and maintenance personnel.
