Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the Company
Our client is a major national commercial service provider operating a modern, automated processing facility in Alexandria.

The Role
You will maintain and repair high-volume industrial machinery, support planned maintenance schedules, and respond to site breakdowns to ensure seamless production.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, fault-find, and repair industrial processing equipment, dryers, ironers, and conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults during breakdowns, start-ups, and shutdowns.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and log work via the site management system.
• Work with site utilities including gas, steam systems, pneumatics, and water lines.
• Assist with machinery upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain site safety standards and report hazard risks.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Australian Electrical Licence (Cert III Electrotechnology).
• Strong industrial maintenance background with solid mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with pneumatics, steam/gas utilities, or automated machinery (highly regarded).
• Full Australian work rights.
