ELECTRICAL MANAGER

JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL MANAGER / ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE MANAGER*

*JOB SUMMARY:*

The Electrical Manager is responsible for overseeing all electrical operations, maintenance, and installations across the factory/facility. He ensures uninterrupted power supply, safety, and optimal performance of all electrical systems and equipment.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

*1. Electrical Maintenance & Operations:*

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems - Panels, MCC, PCC, Transformers, Generators, Motors, VFDs, PLCs

• Ensure minimal downtime of production machines due to electrical faults

• Manage power distribution, LT/HT systems, and load management

*2. Troubleshooting & Repairs:*

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults on production lines

• Oversee installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machines

• Ensure proper functioning of automation, control panels, and instrumentation

*3. Team Leadership:*

• Lead, supervise and train team of electricians, technicians, and engineers

• Assign daily tasks, shifts, and monitor KPIs

• Conduct safety toolbox talks and technical training

*4. Safety & Compliance:*

• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards - LOTO, PPE, earthing

• Ensure compliance with SON, NEMSA, and HSE regulations

• Conduct electrical safety audits and risk assessments

*5. Budget & Vendor Management:*

• Prepare electrical maintenance budget and control costs

• Manage inventory of electrical spares - cables, breakers, contactors, relays

• Source and manage electrical vendors and contractors

*6. Documentation & Reporting:*

• Maintain electrical drawings, SLDs, maintenance logs, and breakdown history

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on power consumption, downtime, maintenance

*REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:*

• BSc/HND/B.Eng in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• Minimum 5-8 years experience as Electrical Manager / Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Engineer in Manufacturing / FMCG / Industrial Plant

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, Motors, Power Distribution

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and SLDs

• Knowledge of Generator operations - 100KVA to 1000KVA, Synchronizing, ATS

• Knowledge of HSE, LOTO, and electrical safety standards

• Good leadership and problem-solving skills

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
