Electrical Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead electrical engineering and automation activities for automotive Body-in-White (BIW) welding projects. This role will oversee electrical design, PLC and robot integration, commissioning, team management, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering teams, including hardware design, PLC programming, robot programming, and virtual commissioning.
• Develop project execution plans, manage engineering resources, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Oversee electrical control system design, installation, integration, and commissioning for automotive BIW automation projects.
• Coordinate technical requirements and engineering standards with customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues throughout project execution.
• Manage project risks, engineering quality, schedules, and cost control.
• Lead customer acceptance, technical documentation, and customer training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in automotive BIW welding automation and electrical control systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, industrial robotics, electrical design, and commissioning.
• Experience managing engineering teams and delivering automation projects.
• Familiarity with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, FANUC, ABB, or KUKA systems is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Pay: $88,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
