Electrical / Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understudy lift electronics manager and learn about lift repair electronics repair.
• Diagnose and repair faults in lift electronic systems, including control boards, wiring, and communication modules.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator electrical and electronic components
• Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to identify issues
• Test and calibrate sensors, relays, drives, and safety devices, where required.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency / cyclical repair requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex system faults.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical reports.
• Support modernization and upgrade projects for existing lift systems, where necessary.
• Any other ad-hoc work assigned by manager / supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related building services / engineering field.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic programming or diagnostic software skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Attention to detail, time management and reliability, communication and teamwork skills.
• The position might require on-call duties and emergency response.
