ELECTRICAL MEP ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical MEP Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and executing electrical works for construction and interior fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and review electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, BOQs, and material take-offs.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works, including lighting, power distribution, DBs, cabling, containment, switches, and sockets.
• Coordinate electrical services with mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, civil, and interior fit-out teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor project progress, manpower requirements, material usage, and work schedules.
• Coordinate electrical testing, commissioning, inspections, and project handover.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE electrical regulations, authority requirements, and HSE procedures.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain relevant project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in electrical MEP works, preferably in construction or interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical drawings, installation methods, BOQs, and material estimation.
• Familiarity with UAE electrical standards and authority requirements.
• Strong technical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and meet project deadlines.
• Candidates with UAE project experience will be preferred.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
