Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical / MEP Technician with hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, MEP systems, and general building maintenance. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting abilities, practical field experience, and the flexibility to work under varying shift schedules based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and MEP systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, equipment failures, and related MEP issues.
• Carry out routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building services systems.
• Troubleshoot maintenance problems efficiently and minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform electrical installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance works as required.
• Inspect and maintain lighting systems, power outlets, distribution boards, breakers, switches, and other electrical equipment.
• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, pumps, and other MEP systems when required.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, spare parts, and maintenance records properly.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site teams regarding maintenance activities and shift assignments.
• Report major faults, required spare parts, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and general MEP maintenance work.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, MEP systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Practical knowledge of electrical panels, DBs, MCCs, breakers, lighting, sockets, and basic control systems.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pumps, and building maintenance.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and understand wiring diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts depending on operational requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Technical certification or diploma in Electrical, MEP, or a related field is preferred.
• UAE/GCC maintenance experience is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and building services.
• Experience with lighting systems, emergency lighting, power outlets, and electrical panels.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, FCU, AHU, split AC, and pumps.
• Basic plumbing and general building maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with maintenance safety standards, PPE, and safe working procedures.
• Ability to use electrical testing tools such as multimeter, clamp meter, and insulation tester.
• Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns and perform effective fault finding.
