Electrical Package Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Package Manager to take charge of electrical packages on major technical construction projects, covering MV/LV, containment, busbar, generator systems and prefabricated power modules. You’ll manage design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning, making sure everything is delivered safely, on time, on budget and to a high standard. You’ll lead subcontractors and suppliers, solve technical problems as they arise, and help deliver reliable, mission-critical power infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

You’ll own the full electrical scope from design through to commissioning. That means coordinating teams and subcontractors, tracking progress, resolving technical issues and making sure all work meets specifications, standards and safety requirements. You’ll carry out inspections, manage documentation, step in when quality or safety is at risk, and support a clean handover of all electrical systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing design, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and your assigned packages
• Leading and coordinating electrical subcontractors and suppliers
• Keeping work on schedule and in line with quality and safety standards
• Carrying out inspections and resolving technical issues
• Managing documentation and regulatory compliance
• Reviewing and approving electrical designs and design changes
• Rejecting substandard work or materials and requiring corrective action
• Stopping work where safety breaches occur and driving improvements
• Supporting final testing, commissioning and handover

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in electrical project or package management
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting and control systems
• Working knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards and regulations
• Experience with project management, design and electrical modelling tools
• Familiarity with BIM and construction management platforms is an advantage
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English
