Electrical panel designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Panel Designer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN Electric P8 to design electrical control panels, power distribution panels, MCC panels, PCC panels, and automation panels. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical schematics, panel layout drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical schematics, control circuit diagrams, power circuit diagrams, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.
• Design electrical panels such as PCC, MCC, PLC, VFD, APFC, and control panels.
• Prepare panel general arrangement (GA) drawings, component layouts, mounting plate layouts, and enclosure drawings.
• Develop single-line diagrams (SLD), termination drawings, cable schedules, and interconnection diagrams.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), component lists, terminal plans, and wire lists.
• Select and integrate electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, overload relays, PLCs, VFDs, power supplies, and terminal blocks.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, project teams, production, procurement, and testing departments.
• Ensure proper component spacing, cable routing, wire numbering, terminal numbering, and panel accessibility.
• Follow applicable IEC standards and customer-specific design requirements.
• Revise drawings based on engineering changes and customer feedback.
• Support the manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and testing teams during panel production.
• Maintain drawing revision records and ensure timely submission of engineering documents.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
