Electrical Paper Machine (OKI 3 Paper)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems of paper machine equipment.
• Analyze and resolve electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of electrical equipment and automation systems.
• Support machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate with production, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth machine operation.
• Review and update electrical drawings, technical documentation, and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, electrical regulations, and industry best practices.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Manage spare parts requirements and support maintenance budgeting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the paper manufacturing industry, preferably in the Paper Machine area.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, motors, MCCs, power distribution, and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with DCS systems and industrial instrumentation is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system issues effectively.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
