Electrical Project Coordinator

Are you a friendly, well-organised communicator who enjoys keeping projects on track and customers happy?

In this work-from-home permanent role with a fast-growing, family-owned Australian business, you’ll keep electrical switchboard and switchroom projects on track from kick-off through to delivery. You’ll be the customer’s champion and the team’s organiser, making sure everyone knows what’s happening and when.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, project management, administration or customer service
• A tertiary qualification in the electrical field is advantageous but not essential

Required Attributes

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language, confident liaising directly with Australian customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and keep them moving
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined, organised approach to work
• Calm under pressure, with a solution-focused attitude and a knack for spotting small issues before they become big ones
• Comfortable using IT systems and quick to learn new tools
• A customer-first mindset and a collaborative approach
• Highly productive and self-directed, comfortable working independently in a remote team
• Access to high-quality IT equipment and fast, reliable internet (>20 Mbps)
• Electrical engineering or technical electrical industry experience is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from start to finish, working closely with project managers, engineers, drafters, estimators and production staff
• Maintain and update project schedules, and keep all stakeholders informed through regular contact
• Provide regular project updates to customers and act as a primary point of contact for their queries
• Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams
• Identify and resolve small issues early, before they impact delivery
• Complete and maintain project documentation as required by the Projects team
• Keep project information accurate and up to date across our systems
