Electrical Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to manage and coordinate electrical projects from commencement through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, site coordination, documentation, resource management and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit project documentation, including Risk Assessments, requisitions, work schedules, drawings, reports and other required documents.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and other resources according to project specifications and requirements.
• Monitor project costs and resources to ensure works are carried out within the approved budget.
• Identify the skills and manpower requirements needed for site deployment.
• Supervise and monitor site progress to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
• Ensure works are carried out according to project specifications, quality requirements and QESH standards.
• Coordinate project matters with main contractors, subcontractors, building owners, consultants and other relevant parties.
• Attend site meetings and follow up on project-related matters.
• Manage and supervise subcontractors, workers and technicians at project sites.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for all projects.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in electrical projects, construction or building services.
• Good understanding of site operations and project coordination.
• Experience managing subcontractors, workers and/or technicians.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.
• Possession of a Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence is an advantage.
