Electrical Project Engineer - Mining Construction
6-Month Contract | South of River | Monday-Friday | $100-$110/hr + Super | Immediate start
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a major industrial construction project at a refinery facility south of Perth.
 
This is a 6-month contract opportunity working Monday to Friday, supporting the construction delivery of a new Filter Press Building. The project is currently in the construction phase and will transition into commissioning as works progress.
 
The Opportunity:
 
As Electrical Project Engineer, you will work on the contractor side, supporting the delivery of electrical works across the project. You will be involved in coordinating construction activities, contractors and subcontractors, technical documentation, quality and safety requirements, and project delivery.
 
Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 6:15am-5:15pm (11 hours)
• Friday: 6:15am-2:45pm
• Monday-Friday roster
• DIDO - candidates must be based South of the River and within a reasonable daily commute of site

About You:
To be considered, you will have:

• Electrical Engineering degree
• Contractor-side experience delivering construction projects within the mining/resources sector
• Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Project Engineer on construction projects
• Strong understanding of electrical construction and project delivery
• White Card
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Ability to work effectively with construction teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Commissioning experience is highly desirable, as the project will transition from construction into commissioning
