Electrical Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and technically strong Electrical Project Engineer to support our Engineering/Projects Department on new MEP projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing electrical works for commercial, residential, villa, and large building projects, from planning and installation to testing and commissioning.

Candidates with UAE MEP construction experience and immediate availability will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical works for commercial, residential, villa, and high-rise building projects.
• Handle electrical planning, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and review LV system planning as per DEWA standards.
• Manage power distribution, lighting, power socket, and cable installation works.
• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, DEWA regulations, and safety standards.
• Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues related to electrical works.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10 to 12 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in MEP/construction projects.
• Strong experience in commercial and residential buildings, shopping malls, villas, and high-rise projects (G+4 to G+12).
• Good knowledge of LV systems and DEWA requirements.
• Strong knowledge of cable selection, sizing, routing, and installation.
• Experience with power sockets, lighting systems, and electrical distribution.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and drainage, and coordination with other MEP services.
• Experience with Emmar projects is an advantage.
