• With 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Willing to work both on-site and in an office setting.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is an advantage.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, design review, estimation, project management, implementation, supervision, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and MEPFS-related works for construction, fit-out, renovation, and facility improvement projects.

The role ensures that electrical systems and related building services are designed, installed, maintained, and completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, applicable electrical codes, safety standards, project requirements, and company quality standards. The position also provides technical support in project execution, facility maintenance, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement of engineering operations.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Electrical Design & Engineering Works

· Review and interpret electrical drawings, plans, specifications, and contract documents.
· Conduct design reviews and provide technical recommendations for electrical and MEPFS systems.
· Review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, load schedules, power distribution systems, lighting systems, auxiliary systems, and other electrical requirements.
· Identify design conflicts, constructability issues, and possible improvements prior to project implementation.
· Prepare technical specifications, scope of works, and engineering recommendations.
· Ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code, National Building Code, applicable engineering standards, and client requirements.
· Assist in preparation and updating of electrical plans, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

B. Project Planning & Estimation

· Conduct site inspections and gather technical information necessary for project planning and estimation.
· Prepare quantity take-offs, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Bill of Materials (BOM), labor estimates, and project cost projections.
· Prepare electrical material specifications and evaluate equipment requirements.
· Assist in project costing, bidding preparation, and proposal development.
· Evaluate supplier quotations and recommend cost-effective materials and solutions.
· Monitor project costs and recommend value engineering initiatives to improve project efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenses.

C. Project Management & Coordination
· Develop project implementation plans, schedules, manpower requirements, and resource allocation plans.
· Monitor project progress and ensure completion within approved timelines and budget.
· Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project requirements.
· Attend project meetings and provide technical updates and recommendations.
· Monitor project milestones, accomplishments, and issues requiring management attention.
· Identify project risks, delays, and technical concerns and recommend corrective actions.
· Prepare project progress reports, accomplishment reports, and engineering updates.

D. Site Supervision & Construction Management
· Supervise electrical, MEPFS, fit-out, renovation, and construction activities at project sites.
· Ensure all electrical installations are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and engineering standards.
· Monitor contractors, subcontractors, electricians, and site personnel to ensure compliance with project requirements.
· Verify installation quality, workmanship, and proper utilization of materials, tools, and equipment.
· Conduct regular site inspections and provide solutions for technical issues encountered during construction.
· Coordinate manpower deployment and monitor productivity at project sites.
· Ensure proper implementation of construction methods and installation procedures.

E. Maintenance & Facility Management
· Oversee electrical maintenance, repair, and improvement works for company facilities, offices, warehouses, commercial establishments, and project sites.
· Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical and MEPFS systems.
· Inspect electrical equipment, panels, lighting systems, power distribution systems, and other building facilities.
· Identify maintenance requirements and recommend repair, replacement, or upgrading of electrical systems.
· Coordinate with service providers, contractors, and suppliers for maintenance-related activities.
· Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of required works.
· Recommend improvements to enhance facility reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.

F. Quality Assurance & Compliance

· Ensure electrical works comply with approved plans, specifications, electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
· Conduct inspections, testing, and verification of completed electrical installations.
· Review shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals, and method statements.
· Inspect delivered materials and verify compliance with project requirements.
· Prepare inspection reports, testing records, punch lists, and quality documentation.
· Ensure proper completion and rectification of identified deficiencies.

G. Testing, Commissioning & Project Turnover
· Supervise testing and commissioning activities for electrical and MEPFS systems.
· Verify proper operation, safety, and performance of installed electrical equipment and systems.
· Coordinate system testing with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
· Monitor completion of punch list items and ensure timely closure of deficiencies.
· Prepare turnover documents, testing reports, and acceptance requirements.
· Assist in project handover and post-completion technical support.

H. Safety & Environmental Compliance
· Ensure compliance with company safety policies, occupational health and safety standards, and government regulations.
· Conduct site safety inspections and identify potential electrical hazards.
· Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety procedures during construction and maintenance activities.
· Participate in toolbox meetings, safety discussions, and incident investigations when required.
· Recommend corrective and preventive measures to maintain a safe working environment.

I. Reporting & Documentation
· Prepare technical reports, project updates, maintenance reports, and engineering recommendations.
· Maintain organized records of project documents, drawings, inspection reports, and maintenance activities.
· Prepare documentation required for permits, inspections, turnover, and project completion. Provide technical reports and updates to management regarding project status, issues, and recommendations.
· Coordinate with other departments regarding engineering requirements and operational concerns.

J. Other Tasks
· Assist in procurement activities related to electrical materials, equipment, and engineering services.
· Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and other departments.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and project operations.
· Perform other engineering, project management, maintenance-related, and operational tasks assigned by Management.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php27,000.00 per month
