Job Description:

Solar PV Project Execution

• Execute electrical works for ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV projects as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Supervise installation of solar modules, module mounting structures (MMS), DC cabling, AC cabling, and cable trays.
• Monitor installation of string inverters, central inverters, inverter duty transformers, LT panels, HT panels, and associated electrical equipment.
• Supervise DC string connections, cable termination, earthing, lightning protection, and electrical interconnections.
• Ensure installation of DCDB, ACDB, SCB, junction boxes, and monitoring systems, wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to resolve site execution issues.
• Verify cable sizing, routing, equipment layouts, and electrical drawings before execution.

B. PSS / Substation Execution

• Execute electrical works for pooling substations and power substations, including 33 kV, 66 kV, 132 kV, 220 kV, or other project-specific voltage levels.
• Supervise installation of power transformers, CTs, PTs/CVTs, circuit breakers, isolators, lightning arresters, and other switchyard equipment.
• Coordinate installation of control and relay panels, LT/HT panels, protection systems, metering systems, and SCADA equipment.
• Supervise cable laying, glanding, termination, control cabling, and equipment earthing.
• Ensure proper installation of busbars, insulators, structures, cable trenches, and auxiliary electrical systems.
• Coordinate protection relay testing, interlocking checks, transformer testing, and other pre-commissioning activities.
• Support grid connectivity, charging approvals, and synchronization activities in coordination with the client and relevant utility or transmission authorities.
