Electrical Project Manager - Data Centers / Mission Critical

Dallas-Fort Worth, TX | Full-time | On-site / project-based

This role suits an electrical project manager who wants full commercial and operational ownership rather than being limited to administration. Our client rewards people who can manage scale: major electrical/mechanical packages, dense commissioning sequences and project teams that may be spread across several active campuses.

What you'll be responsible for

• Drive procurement of long-lead electrical equipment and keep release dates tied to the field sequence
• Lead RFIs, submittals, design coordination and constructability reviews with the field and VDC teams
• Partner with the superintendent on manpower loading, productivity, constraints and recovery planning
• Run owner/GC meetings with clear actions, commercial awareness and disciplined follow-through
• Protect scope by identifying change early, documenting entitlement and converting field events into clean change management
• Coordinate testing, energization, commissioning and turnover so closeout is planned rather than treated as the final problem
• Coach project engineers and assistant PMs in project controls, communication and decision-making
• Maintain a reliable forecast and surface risk early enough for the team to do something about it

What we're looking for

• Organized communicator who can manage the client relationship without losing commercial discipline
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling and standard project-control tools
• Degree in construction, engineering or a related field is useful but equivalent trade/field experience is equally credible
• Electrical construction PM experience with clear ownership of sizeable commercial, industrial or technically complex projects
• Strong grasp of cost control, scheduling, procurement, change management and subcontract/vendor management
