Electrical Project Manager

Duties

• Develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6 to establish schedules, milestones, and resource allocation for electrical projects
• Coordinate with civil engineers and design teams utilizing Civil 3D to integrate electrical systems within broader infrastructure plans
• Manage procurement processes for electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost control
• Oversee on-site installation activities, supervising electricians and subcontractors to maintain safety standards and quality workmanship
• Monitor project progress regularly, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies proactively throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including progress reports, change orders, and compliance records to ensure transparency and accountability

Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale electrical construction or engineering projects from inception through completion
• Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 project management software for scheduling and resource planning
• Familiarity with Civil 3D for integrating electrical designs within civil infrastructure projects
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders effectively
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in electrical construction environments
