Electrical Project Manager

Freelance Electrical Project Manager (Data Centres) | Lahti & Hamina, Finland

We're currently supporting the delivery of two major data centre projects in Finland and are looking to engage experienced Electrical Project Managers on a freelance contract basis.

This is an opportunity to join large-scale mission-critical developments in Lahti and Hamina, supporting projects from construction through commissioning and handover.

The Role

• Lead the delivery of electrical packages on hyperscale data centre projects.
• Manage electrical contractors and subcontractors throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Coordinate project activities across electrical, mechanical, CSA and commissioning teams.
• Drive programme, quality, safety and commercial performance on site.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, method statements and project schedules.
• Support testing, energisation, commissioning and final handover activities.
• Act as the key interface between the client, contractors, consultants and wider project teams.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working as an Electrical Project Manager on data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV, MV and critical power infrastructure.
• Experience managing electrical installation packages through construction and commissioning phases.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders within fast-paced project environments.
• Experience working with international contractors and project teams.
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills.

Highly Desirable

• Previous experience on hyperscale data centre projects.
• Experience working on projects for Microsoft, Google, AWS, Meta or other major data centre operators.
• Background working for a principal contractor, developer, client-side organisation or major MEP contractor.
• Experience managing electrical works through to successful energisation and handover.
