Electrical Project Manager | Renewable Energy & Infrastructure

Join an international project environment where you will play a key role in delivering large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure developments across Europe. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from development and design through construction, commissioning, and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical engineering activities across complex energy and infrastructure projects
• Review, manage, and optimize electrical design deliverables during project development and execution
• Support technical due diligence, project financing, and investor-related technical workstreams
• Evaluate and manage external engineering consultants, contractors, and technology partners
• Oversee project delivery to ensure compliance with technical specifications, timelines, quality standards, and budgets
• Coordinate interfaces between power generation assets, energy storage systems, substations, grid connections, protection and control systems, and SCADA solutions
• Support testing, commissioning, project handover, and early operational activities

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• At least 5 years of experience managing electrical engineering activities within energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience across multiple project phases, including design, construction, commissioning, and delivery
• Strong understanding of project controls, contractor management, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination
• Excellent communication skills in English and Romanian and the ability to work effectively in an international environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with utility-scale solar (PV) projects and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Knowledge of substations, grid integration, medium- and high-voltage systems, protection & control, and SCADA environments
• Hungarian language skills

Location: The project site is located within approximately one hour of Bucharest, Romania , with regular on-site presence required during key project phases.
