Electrical Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Plan, coordinate, and monitor electrical works to ensure projects are completed according to schedule, budget, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Site Coordination: Oversee daily site operations and coordinate electrical installation works with main contractors, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Technical Documentation: Review and prepare electrical drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and other project-related documentation to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Cost & Contract Management: Monitor project expenditure, manage project budgets, prepare and submit monthly progress claims, and negotiate variation orders (VOs) and payment claims with main contractors.
• Progress Monitoring & Stakeholder Management: Track project progress, identify and resolve site issues, attend site meetings, and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
• Experience managing electrical works for HDB residential, condominium, or commercial building projects.
• Knowledge of electrical installation practices, project coordination, technical drawings, and relevant Singapore electrical regulations and safety requirements.
• Strong project management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
