Electrical Project Manager/Deputy Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

* Manage the full project lifecycle from planning, execution, monitoring to project completion.

* Oversee electrical installation works for commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.

* Prepare project schedules, manpower planning, procurement plans, and work programs.

* Monitor project progress, budget, cost control, and resource allocation.

* Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.

* Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.

* Ensure all works comply with project specifications, safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

* Attend project meetings and provide regular progress reports to management.

* Resolve technical, contractual, and site-related issues promptly.

* Supervise Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors.

* Manage project documentation including RFIs, variation orders (VO), claims, testing & commissioning records, and handover documents.

* Ensure successful Testing & Commissioning (T&C), project handover, and defect rectification.

* Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize delays and cost overruns.

* Foster good client relationships and maintain high customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.

Requirements

* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

* Assistant Project Manager: 2–4 years of relevant project experience.

* Deputy Project Manager: 5–8 years of relevant experience with team leadership.

* Project Manager: 8+ years of experience managing large-scale M&E/Electrical projects.

* Good knowledge of Singapore electrical codes, authorities’ requirements, and construction practices.

* Strong project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control skills.

* Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office applications.

* Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
