Electrical QA Representative

Overview PM Group are seeking an experienced Electrcial QA Representative to join our data center construction project team in Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance for all electrical installations including power distribution, UPS systems, and standby generators
• Ensure compliance with European electrical standards and Belgian electrical regulations
• Manage electrical commissioning tests, insulation testing, power quality analysis, and protection coordination studies
• Maintain comprehensive electrical test certificates, calibration records, and compliance documentation
• Monitor electrical contractor quality performance and adherence to specifications
• Ensure electrical safety compliance and manage electrical risk assessments
• Investigate electrical quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Provide detailed electrical quality reports to project management

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
• Minimum 5+ years in electrical quality assurance on major construction / infrastructure projects
• Understanding of data centre electrical systems and critical power requirements
• Knowledge European / Belgian electrical standards
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment and commissioning procedures
• Fluent English essential; Dutch/French advantageous
• Proficient in electrical testing software, power analysis tools, and documentation systems
• Strong electrical safety knowledge and risk assessment capabilities
• European electrical engineering certification or chartered status desireable
