Electrical QA/QC Engineer (5–8 Years Experience)

We are a leading MEP contracting company in Dubai seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and inspection requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection and testing, project documentation and UAE/GCC construction standards, with the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, consultants and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain project quality assurance and quality control procedures in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
• Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality documentation.
• Conduct inspections of MEP installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and project teams on quality-related matters.
• Monitor site activities and identify non-conformities, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests, quality reports, NCRs and other project quality documentation.
• Participate in material inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, project specifications and quality management procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, test results and quality-related documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant QA/QC experience within the MEP contracting and construction industry.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control of MEP systems on commercial, residential or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation standards, inspection procedures, testing and commissioning requirements and quality management systems.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing ITPs, method statements, quality reports, NCRs and inspection documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements, project specifications and international codes and standards.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and maintain comprehensive quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proficiency in quality documentation management.

Compensation: AED 8,000 – 10,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.
